If you haven’t been following the different musical battles that have been happening on Instagram, where have you been?

The Verzuz Battles have some of the best artists putting their music against one another, and some have been epic.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen Erykah Badu vs. Jill ScottLudacris vs. Nelly, and Babyface vs. Teddy Riley. Now, producer Swizz Beatz wants the battle of Atlanta to take place between groups 112 and Jagged Edge.

Swizz Beatz is asking Jermaine Dupri to make this happen soon.

“Can you make that happen, JD? Because a lot of people say what they want to see, but can you pick up the phone and make that happen? I would love to see Jagged Edge vs.112. Get them on the phone, JD. Let’s go.”

Dupri produced some of Jagged Edge’s biggest hits, such as “Let’s Get Married” and “Where the Party At?” while they were under Dupri’s So So Def Records in the 1990s.

While 112 was under Def Soul records, they had hits such as “Peaches and Cream,” “Cupid,” and “Only You.”

The Verzuz Battles haven’t been “battles” as much as it has been the appreciation of some great music from “back in the day.

There have been other suggestions by fans of whom they would like to see battle next to each other like Usher vs. Justin Timberlake or Monica vs. Brandy.

Brandy is all for the battle, but when asked, Monica turned down the offer. Oh well, maybe 112 and Jagged Edge will give us the Battle for Atlanta.
