‘Expensive Pain’ is near to selling 85,000 and 95,000 albums and Akademiks doesn’t seem to take this well. He claimed that ‘Roc Nation’, Meek Mill’s label put in a large amount of money because they knew that ‘Expensive Pain’ wasn’t doing well.
Akademics while looking for a promo video in the Instagram page of ‘The Shade Room’ questioned ‘Roc Nation’, what amount they had paid for ‘Expensive Pain’ and that his sources revealed it was 10 bands.

Akademics added that he was referred as a Drake ‘stan’ but Drake did not pay for anything for a post. He further added that ‘Say Cheese TV’s’ post on ‘Expensive Pain’ was also a paid promotion stunt.
