Givenchy Spring Summer 2022 Fashion Trends
Matthew Williams is the creative director at Givenchy. In his latest move as creative director, he has introduced a post-industrial aesthetic to the label’s line of clothing, something that was first pioneered by him in his previous job as creative director for ALYX 9SM.
While this might be a new season for most people, the designer has been working on it since July. With the Givenchy 2020-2022 Collection, Anthony Vaccarello has announced his first women’s collection at Givenchy. Vaccarello is an award-winning designer with a creative vision that is uniquely his own. The collection offers a pared-down version of the garments he offered for Spring/Summer 2022 which was his first season.
The new Givenchy menswear collection features the perfect balance of casual yet polished style. From casual jackets to sleek, light gray outerwear, these pieces are sure to make any masculine man look good.

Metal closures are the latest trend in apparel design, with designers using this feature on everything from outerwear to suiting. This all-new way of fastening clothes has been taking the fashion world by storm with its luxurious sheen, modern feel and innovative versatility. This detail instantly brings a sleek sophistication to any piece.
Designer bags are filled with so many embellishments, it can be hard to keep track. What makes a good outfit is the details. Temperature, occasion and personal style all affect what someone chooses to wear, but it’s the accessories that really get us excited.
From adding an extra pop of color with a hat or belt, to switching up your entire look with seasonal scarves- what you adorn yourself with sends a message about who you are and how you want to be seen. From the revamped Antigona and Kenny (a new style introduced for SS22) to Givenchy’s signature “4G” clasp, there is something for everyone here.
“I believe fashion is relevant when it reflects what it means to live today; there’s a constant tension between everyday reality and the precision, elegance and extravagance of the couture tradition.” – Matthew Williams
The TK-360 is the latest futuristic shoe from Nike unveiled by NBA star Kevin Durant. The shoe is made entirely with a material that allows the wearer to walk directly on it, eliminating the need for traditional shoe components like a midsole or outsole.
Though not as impressive as his SS22 couture-adjacent show, Williams’s newest pre-season collection does have some highlights & still stands above most of his peers.. The highlight is a gorgeous selection of sculptural, asymmetric evening gowns with long, draped bodices and skirts that reflect the designer’s penchant for a luxurious, old Hollywood aesthetic.
There were a few standout pieces that are sure to become some of next year’s must-haves, like the futuristic TK-360 shoe. The collection of fashion and apparel above will be available at your favorite stores and on our e-commerce site beginning May 2022.
