Cognac Queen Pageant Winner
Last June, Megan Thee Stallion announced her first Cognac Queen Pageant on Instagram. Hopefuls simply had to go to the contest website, enter their name, email address, and state why they should be selected as a Cognac Queen to be eligible for the $2,500 scholarship.
“Cognac Queen” is a song featured on Tina Snow, the EP, which featured Megan’s first hit song “Hot Girl Summer.” On Instagram, she posted pictures of the grateful winner standing in front of Texas Southern University. Included in the post is a screenshot of the winner saying, “I want to tell Megan and her team thanks for the scholarship that got me here!”
It’s not entirely clear what the exact criteria for winning the pageant is, as Megan says that it’s not a beauty or talent contest. There’s going to be a new contest this year, but there’s no announced date.
Fashion Nova Collab In The Works!
Fans were ecstatic about the latest Megan Thee Stallion Instagram post, where she announced: “That quarantine 15 @fashionnova.” The “15” is a bit of funny math, referring to her being 5 feet and 10 inches tall. The Houston rapper’s eleven million Instagram fans quickly chimed in with congratulations and gave the post over one million likes.
The collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion seems to be right in Fashion Nova‘s playbook as the brand successfully built its following through the use of Instagram influencers. With over 18 million followers, both men and women can’t get enough of voluptuous models sporting their colorful clothes.
Misses “Hot Girl Summer” plans to use her collaboration with the brand to design jeans for women who have a frame similar to hers. βWhen the world goes back to normal, Iβm working with them to make longer jeans for us tall girls,β Megan said.
Some questions remain in regards to if Megan and Fashion Nova‘s line of denim jeans will only target tall and curvy women or women of all sizes. Whether or not the form-fitting jeans that she’s wearing in her Instagram post are the same kind the brand will sell in stores is also unknown at this moment.
Last year, Megan got into it with an internet troll that ragged on her for being so tall. “I been tall all my life and still get any man I want,” Megan said in response to the comments.

Megan turning her height into a commodity is poetic justice. She displayed her strong work ethic and ability to multi-task in a 2019 documentary, where she juggled pursuing her college degree and building her rap career.

Megan’s previous hit single, “Hot Girl Summer,” featuring Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign peaked at #11. What makes the success of the song even more outstanding is that Megan and Beyonce are donating the proceeds to charity.
Megan Performs ‘Savage Remix’ Challenge
The #savageremixchallenge quickly became the viral dance challenge. Not to be outdone by her fans during quarantine, Megan took a shot at a dance routine herself while two backup dancers joined in twerking on a counter-top.

Beyonce’s verse on the “Savage Remix” where she rapped “If you don’t jump to put jeans on, baby, you don’t feel my pain” also became the source of some hilarious TikTok meme videos.
