FILA FUSION COLLECTION
“The fusion of the music and Milanese street style with creative freedom is my main inspiration,” Marcelo Burlon said. With his latest capsule collection for County of Milan and FILA FUSION, he has once again proved to be a master at this concept.
This Argentinian designer draws inspirations from his native Patagonia roots and spirit of the ‘90s Italian Riviera clubbing scene. The fashion label Burlon is a juxtaposition between colorful folk patterns and psychedelic shapes to create a rebellious collection that reflects a time where FILA was in its pomp.
“I have been a long-standing fan of FILA and was excited to work with the team on our first capsule collection, taking streetwear to a whole new level,” explains Burlon of the collaboration.
“We worked hard to bring our vision to life, creating a fun, vibrant collection, inspired by my traditional folk heritage and the club culture I grew up with. It was the perfect starting point for an ongoing collaborative conversation and I look forward to seeing where the future takes us”.
