The third suspect in the Ahmaud Arbery case William “Roddie” Bryan, the man who took the video of Arbery being shot and killed, now fears for his life.
Bryan’s attorney Kevin Gough is asking the Arbery family lawyers, Benjamin Crump and Lee Merritt, to back off his client because he fears for his client’s safety.
“Please stop doing and saying things that endanger the lives of Roddie and his family,” Gough told reporters at a late-night press conference outside the Glynn County Courthouse.
“Whether you realize it or not ya’ll have put a target on his back. He is unarmed and defenseless. He’s a sitting duck.”– William “Roddie” Bryan on GMA
When he heard of Gough’s comment, Merritt said no.
“I’ll stop calling for his arrest once he’s arrested,” Merritt told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Greg and Travis McMichael, have been charged with the February murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Roddie Bryan has so far hasn’t been arrested for his part in the killing.
Gough said his client supposedly took a lie detector test and passed; however, he is worried that he or someone in his family will be killed because of his part in this murder.
